ELICIT+ – Education for European citizenship

An Erasmus+ strategic partnership of 24 European organisations training teachers to teach European citizenship. The Alumni Foundation hosted the C1 and C2 courses and a dissemination conference in Constanța.

ELICIT+ (European Literacy and Citizenship Education) continued the ELICIT project and brought together universities, professional associations, schools and school inspectorates from 12 European countries between 2014 and 2017. Its aim was to train teachers and teacher trainers so that pupils understand and live the values of European citizenship.

What the Alumni Foundation did

C1 course – training of trainers, 20–26 February 2017, Constanța
C2 course – training of teachers, 22–28 May 2017, Constanța
Dissemination conference on the ELICIT+ activities, May 2017, Constanța
took part in the C1 course in Paris (October 2015), the dissemination events in Rome and Belgrade and the final conference in Budapest
produced intellectual outputs: a guide to preparing a training session on active European citizenship and a template for the internal evaluation of a training module
